TheTeacherWebSite is developed to provide tools for educators, administrators, and students. It allows members to create practice sets and problems for student practice and testing. Problems are saved in databases and can be used to create ProblemSets for practice or testing. Members can add their own problems for to be used as well Problems added by members can be used by the user/member community to create their own practice or testing sets. Features of this website include easy to use tools for setting up online practice sets that can have an optional password assigned to them by the owner/member, easy test creation using database problems and/or personal problems, flash cards for student practice, and more. Tests can be printed or taken online by students with an optional password for immediate grading by the system (for multiple choice, true/false, and yes/no problems). Graded Tests and Grades are stored online in the members gradebook that can be viewed online by members. An automatic notification feature will send the member a notification when a student takes one of their test and will include student information and test results.

TheTeacherWebSite.com and BrainPond.com were developed by BrainPond LLC and are more than just a static websites. They provides tools to teachers to design their own websites easily while being visually stimulating. It is an integrated solution written in PHP, HTML, and Javascript using MySql databases. TheTeacherWebSite.com BrainPond.com Tools are integrated and include: a wysiwyg editor (Windows version), clip art, background images, color and formatting options and more. Two calendars are available per teacher (private and public) on our BrainPond.com where events can be entered on any date and viewed online or printed using BrainPond.com features. Students can view the public calendar as a selection for their teacher using a public calendar on BrainPond.com.

A special email system has been developed and integrated into BrainPond.com too. This feature is integrated in TheTeacherWebSite.com to provide automated notification when someone takes a test In BrainPond.com a teacher sets a flag in their web profile to allow students to send them email, then students can go to the teacher's website and send a message to the teacher. (A copy goes back to the student.) That email information is stored on in the teacher's BrainPond.com message record which can be accessed by the teacher and responded to by the teacher. (The system knows which messages belong to a teacher and will only allow that teacher to see and reply to messages to that teacher.) A trigger event occurs when a student sends a message to the BrainPond.com system that causes a copy of the message to be sent to the teacher via blindcopy. A blindcopy ensures that the teacher's personal email is not seen by the student as long as the teacher replys via the BrainPond.com message center.
